Atletico Madrid look forward to bring in Chelsea duo, Juan Mata and Kevin De Bruyne, according to Daily Star.

Both the players have found themselves on the bench for most of the season so far under new manager Jose Mourinho. Mourinho has preferred to field Oscar, Hazard, Willian and Schurrle as his attacking options.

Mata is doubtful over his future in Chelsea as he is not getting enough playing time. This could hamper his chances to make it to the Spain World Cup squad next year.

Atletico manager Diego Simeone is desperate to ensure he has adequate replacements for the expected departure of key player Koke in the new year and has thus targeted Mata and De Bruyne.

Koke is set to join either Manchester United or Liverpool in January.
