According to the Sun, Manchester City are desperate to sign Bayern Munich center back Dante in the January transfer window.
The Brailian has impressed immesnsely in the last couple of years in the Bundesliga and Europe with Bayern Munich. The center back has become a fixture in the team, and was instrumental in the treble winning season last year under Jupp Heynckes.
The 30-year old has also established himself in the Brazil national team, forming a successful partnership with PSG star Thiago Silva.
Manchester City are keen to sign an accomplished center back considering the incessant problems they have had in that area of the park this season. Vincent Kompany has been in and out of the side due to injury, and his replacements have failed to catch the eye.
With money to burn, Manuel Pellegrini could make a move for the player this winter, however, Bayern Munich will do everything in their power to hold on to their star man atleast until the end of the season.
