According to Inside Football, French champions, Paris Saint-Germain eye Barcelona goal keeper Victor Valdes next summer.
Initially the Spanish custodian was tipped to join AS Monaco, but now it is heard that Monaco would retain their current number one Danijel Subasic and offer him a contract extension.
With this decision of Monaco, PSG have become the front-runners to rope in Valdes, who’s contract with Barcelona expires next summer.
Valdes is currently out with a calf injury. He has spent all his professional career with Barcelona.
Salvatore Sirigu is currently the first choice goal-keeper for coach Laurent Blanc, but with his contract expiring in 2015, Valdes is most likely to be his replacement.
