£7m for Robert Lewandowski puts Premier League clubs on alert

Reports are making the rounds that Robert Lewandowski is being offered to Premier League clubs at a cut price of just £7million.

Borussia Dortmund want to sell Lewandowski who’s contract expires in the summer before rivals Bayern Munich snap him up.

Machester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are all eyeing the 25-year old. Lewandowski has been on City’s target list, and Dortmund view Edin Džeko as a potential replacement for the player.

Sir Alex Ferguson was keen on Robert, however David Moyes has preferred to keep Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie as his first-choice strikers. But bringing a replacement for Rooney depends entirely upon him signing a new contract.

If he does, Jose Mourinho might be looking to make a bid for the Dortmund forward.

Arsenal lost their Champions League match to Borussia due to a late goal by Lewandowski. They are perfectly aware of what the player can accomplish, and Arsene Wenger might be considering bringing in the striker to strengthen his squad.

The only hiccup which could arise would be if Real Madrid make a bid for Lewandowski.
