The Serbian star has been one of Italy's most consistent performers over the past two years and has enjoyed another impressive Serie A campaign with the Biancocelesti.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has grown into a complete box-to-box midfielder with Lazio and his ability to make an impact in both halves of the pitch has held him in good stead. The Lazio man has registered eight goals and nine assists in the Serie A this season and has been pivotal to his side's resurgence in recent months.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has thrived in Lazio's 3-5-2 formation and remains the beating heart of his side. The prodigious midfielder has improved several aspects of his game and is one of the best passers in Serie A.

AS Roma have been visibly below their best in the Serie A this season and their seventh-placed finish is a fairly poor reflection of the team's form. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has defied expectations, however, and has managed to rejuvenate his career with some splendid performances.

The attacking midfielder has been the primary creative presence in the final third for the Giallorossi and has thrived alongside Edin Dzeko and Pedro. AS Roma have endured a turbulent injury-ridden season and have been heavily dependent on the experience and poise of Mkhitaryan.

Given his history with newly-appointed manager Jose Mourinho, the Armenian maestro's future in the Serie A remains uncertain. Mkhitaryan's performances with AS Roma have been exceptional nonetheless and are a testament to his talent and resolve.

Rodrigo de Paul has been one of the few bright sparks of Udinese's season and has excelled in his midfield role. The Argentine star has pulled the strings for his side this season and has produced commendable performances against some of Serie A's strongest midfield units.

De Paul's impressive form has earned him a place in Argentina's squad for the Copa del Rey next month. With nine goals and nine assists from a relatively deep role, the Udinese midfielder could potentially play a crucial role in his national team's fortunes this year.

Sassuolo have enjoyed an exceptional run of results over the past two years and are becoming a force to reckon with under Roberto De Zerbi. The Neroverdi are prone to bouts of inconsistency, however, and have been let down by defensive lapses on more than one occasion.

Domenico Berardi has more than made up for his side's shortcomings and has become one of Serie A's most promising forwards. The Sassuolo star has found the back of the net 17 times in the league this season and can be a lethal presence in the final third on the day.

Sassuolo have produced some of Europe's most promising talents in recent months and have undergone a renaissance under De Zerbi. Alongside the impressive Manuel Locatelli, Domenico Berardi has come into his own and has become one of Serie A's best wingers.
