Skrtel is on the verge of leaving Liverpool

The transfer market in Europe is up and running after a slow start. Chelsea are close to completing a deal for a Belgian international, whilst Liverpool are ready to sell one of the highest earners in their squad.

Zidane has ordered Real Madrid to sign a certain Leicester star, and several Premier League sides are set to meet the representatives of Sofiane Boufal. We have done an in-depth analysis on the latest rumours doing the rounds today.

Martin Skrtel to Fenerbahce

According to Turkish media outlet AMK Spor, Martin Skrtel is close to completing his transfer from Liverpool to Fenerbahce. It is reported the Turkish side have agreed to pay £5m to Liverpool for the services of the Slovakian skipper.

Experts say: Liverpool based journalists claim Skrtel should complete his move to Fenerbahce this week, if personal terms can be agreed.

Our take: Jurgen Klopp made it quite clear towards the end of the season that he doesn’t see Martin Skrtel in his plans for next season, when he opted for Kolo Toure in important games ahead of him. Skrtel is one of the highest earners at Liverpool, and they are quite desperate to offload him.

Fenerbahce should be able to agree on personal terms with Skrtel, and we won’t be surprised if Liverpool agree to compensate a part of his wages to get the deal done.

Chances of it happening out of 10: 9/10

N’Golo Kante to Real Madrid

n'golo kante

Spanish daily Marca reckon N’Golo Kante is on the wishlist of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane. Apparently, Zidane has ordered Real Madrid to sign the French midfielder this summer to add competition for Casemiro.

Experts say: Reliable reports in France also suggest Zidane is keen on signing Kante, but Real Madrid are yet to contact his representatives.

Our take: Kante is wanted by several top clubs in Europe, and a transfer does look likely this summer. It remains to be seen if he is going to Real Madrid, but the likes of Chelsea and Paris-Saint Germain are also very interested.

Going by the reports in France, we reckon Paris-Saint Germain are in the pole position to sign Kante, but things could change. Leicester managed to convince Jamie Vardy to sign a new contract, but Kante’s situation is different. As thing stand, it’s difficult to say if he is going to Real Madrid, but it’s very likely he could be leaving.

Chances of it happening out of 10: Real Madrid – 5/10, Exit from Leicester – 8/10

Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea

The Belgian star has been strongly linked to Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham, and Crystal Palace in the last few months, but Chelsea seem to have hijacked the deal. RMC Sport reported Chelsea have agreed a fee of €40m excluding bonuses with Marseille, and latest reports also suggest he has completed his medicals.

Experts say: Following reports in France, it seems English media also agree with the claims of Batshuayi signing for Chelsea.

Our take: This one seems to be done and dusted. A deal could be announced very soon, and Chelsea have signed a very impressive youngster. French media outlets like RMC Sport and L’Equipe are very reliable, and if they say a deal is done then it’s probably true.

Chances of it happening out of 10: 10/10

Sofiane Boufal to Arsenal, Chelsea and Southampton

Sofiane Boufal

The Moroccan international enjoyed a breakthrough season at Lille, and has been linked to several European clubs. The Guardian reported his representatives are set to meet Arsenal, Chelsea and Southampton this week to evaluate offers.

Experts say: The reliable sources believe the above mentioned Premier League clubs are interested in the player, but there is no meeting scheduled yet.

Our take: This one seems to be a bit difficult to say at the moment, as the player has been linked with several top European clubs following his performances last season. Lille, however, like the idea of selling him this summer, and he could very well be set for a transfer, but his destination remains to be seen.

Chances of it happening out of 10: Arsenal, Chelsea and Southampton – 6/10, Exit from Lille – 8/10
