Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge could create history by becoming the most lethal strike partnership (in terms of goals scored) in the history of the Premier League. The Uruguayan has scored an astounding 28 goals so far this season, and could break numerous other records if he continues in similar vain. The Englishman on the other hand, has scored 19 goals in what has been his most prolific goal scoring in the league thus far.

With 8 games to go, the duo need just 9 goals to surpass the current record holders – Andy Cole and Peter Beardsley, who scored 55 goals between them in 1993-94 for Newcastle United.
