With Arsenal chasing Petr Cech’s signature, it is easy to see why the North London club value him so much. The 33-year-old goalkeeper has the highest save percentage among Premier League goalkeepers since the 2004/05 season.
The Czech Republic international joined the Blues in 2004 and was a mainstay in the side which won four EPL titles, four FA Cups, a Champions League, a Europa League title and three League Cups. Although he has been demoted after the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, he stil has the highest saves percentage with a phenomenal 76.7%!
Nigel Martyn comes in second with a majority of his EPL career spent at Crystal Palace and Leeds with the final years of his career spent at Everton. He was even described as then Everton boss David Moyes as his ‘greatest ever signing’.
Huerelho Gomes makes a surprising entry at #3 while Tomasz Kuszczak is in at #4. West Ham goalkeeper Adrian completes the top five goalkeepers in the list.
