6.Elimination of Manchester city FC in group stage
The giant Manchester city FC got knocked out of the competition as early as in group stage of the tournament . They were the winner of Barclay’s premier league last season and had high hopes , but the hope shattered as early as in group stage. They didn’t even won a single match.

THE one of the two biggest surprises of this years competition is Borussia Dortmund beating Real Madrid 4-3 on aggregate .

1.Demolition of FC Barcelona by Bayern Munich
The greatest match of Bayern till date would be none other than this year’s champions league semi-final clash vs FC Barcelona.
It had all the elements of a “match of the century” . At last year’s champions league , the German side lost in the final to Chelsea but it seems like they are on the way to win the title this year.
