New QPR signing Loic Remy has claimed a game of FIFA 12 with chairman Tony Fernandes sealed his move to the relegation threatened club.

“It was a special moment that followed our chat about QPR,” Remy said.

Daily Transfer Updates

In today’s transfer news, Manchester United chief David Gill has confirmed the club’s interest in Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Speaking at the FA’s 150th anniversary launch, Gill said, “He’s one of the players we’re looking at and we’ll see what happens. There’s a long way to go. He’s one of the players we’re looking at. That’s all I’ll say at the moment.

He added: “Even if we did do something with Wilfried Zaha, that would be for the summer.”

Meanwhile, AC Milan Vice-president Adriano Galliani has denied rumors that David Beckham could return to AC Milan.

Not surprising, considering the midfielder commands a huge salary Milan would not be able to afford, especially when they are trying to cut down on their debt.
