#1. Frenkie De Jong to Barcelona

Netherlands international, Frenkie De Jong tops the list of pre-contract signings as he completed a move from Ajax to Barcelona for £65.3 million. He signed his contract in the winter transfer window but was allowed to stay back at the parent club till the end of the season.
De Jong not only helped his club win the Eredivisie title, but he also led them to a dream run in the Champions League. Ajax made it to the semi-final and almost had one foot in the final before Tottenham had the last laugh.
Known for his dribbling skills, match intelligence and close control of the ball, De Jong would perfectly mould into the Barcelona system and be an ideal midfielder for La Blaugrana. At a time when veterans like Rakitić and Busquets are reaching the dusk of their career, De Jong will get ample opportunities to play and establish himself in the ranks of the Catalan club.
