Juventus celebrate their record 6th consecutive Scudetto in 2016-17

This made Juventus the first team to win six consecutive titles in the competition. Juventus themselves (1930-31 to 1934-35), and Internazionale (2005-06 to 2009-10) each won a record 5 consecutive titles.
However, it should be noted that Internazionale finished behind Juventus in 2005-06 but the league title that season was awarded to the Nerrazzuri following the scrapping of Juventus' 2005-06 title and their subsequent demotion to Serie B due to the latter's involvement in the famous Calciopoli scandal.
