Timo Werner has been nothing short of a striking sensation for the last few seasons in Germany.
He had started his career with Stuttgart and made history as a child prodigy when he became the youngest player to both represent and score for the club in 2013.
A transfer to RB Leipzig was completed in 2016 and the German international has taken his scoring feats to new heights and is currently one of the most consistent scorers in the Bundesliga.
Werner's goals have been the driving force behind Leipzig's meteoric rise, with the Stuttgart native scoring 21 goals in his debut season to help the club finish their first season back in the top-flight in second position and qualify for the Champions League.
He has since become an established regular with the German national team and helped fire his country to their first FIFA Confederations Cup title in 2017, scoring three goals to win the tournament's, Golden Boot.
So far this season, Werner has been in red-hot form and he has scored 15 goals and provided seven assists from 17 matches in all competitions, with 11 of those coming in 11 Bundesliga games.
