Kevin Davies celebrates a goal for Bolton Wanderers

Former English, Southampton, Blackburn and Bolton striker, Kevin Davies enjoyed a fruitful 22-year professional career.

However, this lengthy career saw its fair share of defeats, propelling him to the 3rd spot on this list, with 194 Premier League losses. He currently sits in the third spot, tied with Barry who is sure to surpass him this season.

The big, strong English central striker began his career with Chesterfield in 1993 before moving to Southampton in 1997 and Blackburn in 1998 and then Bolton in 2003, where he spent the majority of his career.

Under Allardyce, Davies enjoyed his most promising spell as a top-flight striker, scoring numerous goals for the club in all competitions and becoming the captain and leader for Bolton. Davies spent 10 years at Bolton Wanderers before finishing off his career with Preston North End from 2013-15.

The striker was capped once for his country and remains one of the country's finest players to have not been capped more. A good technical player with great power and strength, Davies could do it all on the field and was a complete team player.
