4. From title contenders to top four hopefuls
Arsenal were the title favourites on new year's eve and yet they are now fighting to even finish in the top four. They are currently 13 points adrift of Leicester, having dropped 21 points in the Premier League in this calendar year.
They were fighting on all fronts and what has followed since is actually a familiar story for any Arsenal fan. And this time, they might even lose out on a Champions League spot as United are only 4 points behind them. Although Gunners play against each of the bottom three placed teams in their last 5 games, a tricky trip to the Etihad Stadium still awaits them.
Arsene Wenger needs to sort things out quickly as they have won only twice in their last seven Premier League outings.
