Filipe Luis still hasn't signed with any club

Atletico Madrid star, Filipe Luis is set to leave the club after his contract expires at the end of the month. The Brazilian was offered a new deal, but he rejected it as he wanted to leave the club this summer.

The former Chelsea full-back has been linked with Spanish giants Barcelona, Turkish side Fenerbahce and Brazilian side Flamengo. All three are possible destinations for the left-back and reports suggested that he has agreed a deal with Flamengo.

However, Luis has rebuffed all speculations and claimed that he has not made a decision yet. The defender is keen on playing well at Copa America if he gets a chance and will make a decision only after the tournament. He said,

“I have not signed with any team yet, I have not said yes to any team and I will not do it until the Copa América finishes,”
“I have given my word out of respect for the Brazilian national team, I ask patience to the Flamengo fans and to all the journalists who want to know the future of all the players that are here. Many are going to change their teams this summer, but speculation does not help.”

Some reports in Brazil also suggest interest from Borussia Dortmund in the full-back, but the German media have replicated none of that. The Bundesliga side have Raphael Guerreiro, and Achraf Hakimi to play in that position right now but are reportedly set to lose the former to PSG this summer.

Hakimi, meanwhile, is on loan from Real Madrid for another season. BVB are looking to sign him on a permanent deal, and Filipe Luis could be a great backup and mentor for him.

Barcelona are ready to let go of Nelson Semedo this summer according to a report in Marca. The Spanish publication reports that the Catalan side are looking for €50 million from any club looking to sign him.

The €35 million signing from Benfica has not impressed at Camp Nou, and reports suggested that he was frustrated with the pressure at the club. Last week, reports in Spain claimed that the right-back was not happy with the pressure Messi puts on the players and wants to leave because of the Argentine.

Diario Sport have a similar report on the Portuguese defender and claim that Atletico Madrid are interested in signing him. The Madrid side are set for a squad overhaul this summer, and many of their top stars are set to leave. SPORT claim that Atleti want to take advantage of the possible move of Griezmann to Barcelona to snap up Semedo.

Antoine Griezmann is still being linked with Barcelona but recent reports suggest that the Frenchman has rejected a move to Camp Nou. The Atletico Madrid star is not happy waiting around for the Catalan side and has decided to join PSG as per the report.

The Ligue 1 side will reportedly activate his release clause once it comes down to €120 million on July 1st. The clause currently stands at €200 million but an agreement with Atletico while signing the contract will bring the clause down to €120 million at the start of next month.

AS report that Griezmann's possible move to PSG will pave the way for Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid. The Frenchman is the top target for Los Blancos right now and they are ready to break the bank to land him this summer.

Barcelona signed Jean-Clair Todibo in the winter transfer window but are already looking to sell him according to reports in Spain. The Frenchman was initially set to join on a free transfer in the summer but when Toulouse threatened to take the Catalan side to court, they agreed a deal with the French club and signed him in January itself.

However, 5 months in and Barcelona have decided that they are ready to let go of him. Ernesto Valverde reportedly wants him to be a part of the pre-season and has asked the club to wait until August before making a decision on him.

Reports suggest that they will include a buy-back clause in his contract if a sale is made, just like Yerry Mina has at Everton. Watford are currently in the race for him and have asked the Catalan side to name their price. The Hornets are keen on signing him and are likely to be his destination soon.

Real Madrid are desperately trying to sell Gareth Bale this summer but have not received an offer for him till now. Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not keen on keeping him at the club and wants him out this summer.

Manchester United are the only club to have shown interest in the player and Real Madrid are trying to take advantage of the same. The Spanish giants are keen on signing Paul Pogba from United and are ready to offer Bale and €50 million according to a report in Spain.

Zidane is looking to take Pogba to Bernabeu this summer according to various reports but United are reportedly not looking to sell him. They set a €180 million price tag on him to scare off Los Blancos but that has only made things worse. Madrid are now looking to seal a deal by offering Bale in return while United are willing to sign him on loan first.
