Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up section. As always we’ve been digging the newspapers and websites for the latest transfer rumours. Manchester United could complete a record transfer this week, while Manchester City are on the verge of signing a German star.

Liverpool are interested in a certain AC Milan star, while Real Madrid have opened negotiations for a Championship midfielder.

Here are the transfer rumours doing the rounds on 1st August:

Serie A

Lazio are interested in Florian Thauvin, and have agreed a loan fee of €2.5m, with the option to buy the player for €11.5m, with Newcastle, reports Il Tempo. The player, however, is keen on returning to Marseille.

Juventus are looking to sign a midfielder to replace Paul Pogba, who is expected to sign for Manchester United. The Italian giants are interested in Nemanja Matic, but Conte wants to keep the Serbian star, claims Gazzetta dello Sport.

Sunderland and Newcastle are interested in the services of Hellas Verona defender Filip Helander, reports Gazza Mercato. The 23-year-old is valued at around €4m, and the upcoming hours could be crucial.

English Premier League

Inter are interested in signing Chelsea star Oscar, reports Calciomercato. The Serie A club have already contacted Chelsea to evaluate the Brazilian’s situation at the club. It is reported Chelsea want €35m for Oscar.

Liverpool are interested in signing AC Milan star Mattia De Sciglio, reports Gazzetta di Parma. Klopp is reportedly a big fan of the Italian international, who is expected to cost around €18m.

Arsenal are in constant touch with the representatives of Riyad Mahrez, reports France Football. The Algerian attacker has refused to sign a new contract at the King Power Stadium.

Paul Pogba’s £100million transfer could be confirmed this week, reports Mirror. The Frenchman is reportedly keen on returning to Old Trafford and reports in the Italian media also suggest a deal could be completed in the next few days.

La Liga

Real Madrid have open negotiations with Newcastle to sign Moussa Sissoko, reports Diario Madridista. The Championship side value the player €40m, whilst Real Madrid believe he is worth €30m. Zidane is reportedly a big fan of Sissoko.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Swansea are in negotiations with Sevilla to sign Fernando Llorente. Both the clubs are working on a loan deal, and trying to agree to a wage structure that suits each of them.

Barcelona are looking to sign a striker to support Suarez, Messi, and Neymar. The Catalan giants could turn their attention towards Tigres striker Andre-Pierre Gignac, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Bundesliga

Schalke star Leroy Sane is in Manchester to complete his move to Manchester City, reports The Guardian. The German international will undergo medicals before completing his £35m move to Pep Guardiola’s team.

Manchester United star Bastian Schweinsteiger wants to remain at the club until the end of his contract in 2018, reports Bild. The German midfielder has recently announced his retirement from the German national team.

Stoke City are interested in the services of Bayer Leverkusen defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos, reports Daily Mirror. The Premier League side are prepared to pay €14 million to sign Papadopoulos.

Rest of Europe

Arsenal are ready to make an offer of €42m for French striker Alexandre Lacazette, reports Gazzetta dello Sport and Paris-Saint Germain have joined the race and are also interested in the Lyon star, but he doesn’t want to play for another club in France.

Benfica are interested in signing Juventus star Hernanes, who is valued at around €8.5m, reports Gazzette dello Sport. Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg are also in the race for Hernanes.

Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder is expected to complete his medicals today at Sevilla. The French striker will follow Luciano Vietto to the La Liga club, who has joined them on loan.
