Dele Alli to replace Luka Modric at Real Madrid

Real Madrid are actively looking for a long-term heir for Luka Modric, who is turning 33 later this year. Los Blancos have made a replacement for the Croatian their top summer priority. And according to Don Balon, Modric himself has suggested the name to replace him.

He has put forward the name of Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli, who he thinks can do the needful at the Bernabeu. Alli is one of the top-performing midfielders in the Premier League since making his debut and is just 21 years old. Modric believes that Alli has all the tools in his box to succeed in Spain.

Real Sociedad part ways with Eusebio Sacristan

After a 2-1 home defeat to Getafe at the weekend, Real Sociedad have sacked their manager, Eusebio Sacristan. Sociedad are 15th in the standings and have failed to impress this season.

Sacristan was at the helm for two and a half years, and will now be replaced by reserves coach Imanol Alguacil until the end of the season.

Juventus closing in on Steven N'Zonzi

Sevilla's midfield enforcer Steven N'Zonzi is reportedly close to agreeing on a move to Juventus in the summer. Mundo Deportivo has reported that Juventus are ready to activate the £30 million release clause of the midfielder. FC Barcelona were also linked with the Frenchman, but deemed his valuation too steep.

Wolves favourites to sign Andre Silva

The Portuguese striker has not managed to set the world alight at AC Milan and is hence linked with a move away from the club after just one season in Italy. According to the Mirror, Wolves are ready to rival Arsenal for the signing of Silva.

The striker's agent, Jorge Mendes has a close relationship with the Wolves owners. Silva has also previously worked with the Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Porto, which makes the English side favourite to land him.

Alaba can play at left back, centre back and can also fill in at midfield. This development will come as a huge blow to Real Madrid, who were also said to be interested in the Bavarian defender.

Borussia Dortmund make a late dash for Lautaro Martinez

According to TYC Sports, Borussia Dortmund are looking to hijack Inter Milan's plans of signing the much talked about Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez.

Dortmund have reportedly made a €33 million offer for the striker, who has already agreed on personal terms with the Nerazzurri. It is now up to the player to decide between moving to Dortmund or Milan.

Manchester United eye Marcos Alonso

Jose Mourinho is planning a major upheaval at Manchester United in the summer and has told the top brass of his desire to land Chelsea's Marcos Alonso. The United boss is keen on signing a left back and has been impressed by how Alonso performed in his first season with the Blues.

Don Balon understands that United are ready to bid £70 million for the left-back who will be an immediate upgrade on the likes of Luke Shaw and Ashley Young.

Liverpool approach Leicester City for Wilfred Ndidi

Guinean journalist Alpha Balde, who broke the news of Liverpool signing Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, has now claimed that the Reds have approached Leicester over a summer move for midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

Ndidi has a contract with the Foxes until 2020 and as was the case with Riyad Mahrez, Leicester will play hard to let go of their valuable player. Ndidi is being touted as a direct replacement for Emre Can who is said to be Juventus bound in the summer.

Will Iniesta move to China?

Ernesto Valverde wants Andres Iniesta to stay

Andres Iniesta has a lucrative offer from China on the table and will reportedly make his decision by the end of April. The midfielder signed a "lifetime contract" with Barcelona last summer but has a clause which will enable him to move to a foreign league.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde wants Iniesta to stay but is staying patient at the moment. Talking to the press after Sunday's 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao, he said, "At the moment all we can do is wait and see what he decides. So far he has not made a choice in any way. We know what he brings and we would all like to have Iniesta forever."

Nice confirm Mario Balotelli will leave in the summer

Club president Jean-Pierre Rivere and coach Lucien Favre have conceded the fact that Mario Balotelli will leave Nice at the end of the season. The Italian has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season but with the French side out of contention for qualifying to a European competition, Balotelli is now looking for a new club.

He has been linked with a return to Serie A, with his agent Mino Raiola offering him to the likes of Napoli and Juventus.
