Ernesto Valverde wants Andres Iniesta to stay
Andres Iniesta has a lucrative offer from China on the table and will reportedly make his decision by the end of April. The midfielder signed a "lifetime contract" with Barcelona last summer but has a clause which will enable him to move to a foreign league.
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde wants Iniesta to stay but is staying patient at the moment. Talking to the press after Sunday's 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao, he said, "At the moment all we can do is wait and see what he decides. So far he has not made a choice in any way. We know what he brings and we would all like to have Iniesta forever."
Nice confirm Mario Balotelli will leave in the summer
Club president Jean-Pierre Rivere and coach Lucien Favre have conceded the fact that Mario Balotelli will leave Nice at the end of the season. The Italian has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season but with the French side out of contention for qualifying to a European competition, Balotelli is now looking for a new club.
He has been linked with a return to Serie A, with his agent Mino Raiola offering him to the likes of Napoli and Juventus.
