Jose Mourinho wants five signings this summer

In the wake of a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup final, Jose Mourinho has now started the work to rebuild his side. The Mirror has reported that Manchester United have sanctioned a £250 million war chest and further funds generated from the sale of a number of first-team players which will mount to another £50-60 million.

It is believed that Mourinho wants five fresh faces in the squad and has already decided the targets he wants to pursue. His wishlist includes Gareth Bale, Alex Sandro, Toby Alderweireld, Fred and Jorginho/Jean-Michael Seri.

Also, with the likes of Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian expected to be offloaded, another season of £300 million-plus summer spending beckons the Red Devils.

Manchester City readying a £100 million bid for Eden Hazard

According to the Daily Star, Manchester City have identified Eden Hazard as their top summer target. It is reported that Pep Guardiola has requested the club to make a £100 million bid for the Belgian and offer him massive wages of £300,000 per week.

Hazard has two years left on his Chelsea contract but absence from the Champions League may make him change loyalties.

Maurizio Sarri set to leave Napoli

Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed that the talks over the future of manager Maurizio Sarri have broken down. This has given Chelsea the go-ahead to make a move for their reported target.

De Laurentiis was quoted by the Mirror as saying, "There is no more time For Sarri, he didn’t answer. I have to take responsibility. At some point, we have to move forward. There is a release clause, we'll see what will happen."

AC Milan closing in on Marouane Fellaini

The Rossoneri are confident of landing Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini this summer. He will be a free agent next month and has so far rejected United's offer of an extension.

AC Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has confirmed the club's interest in the Belgian. Meanwhile, the Independent has reported that Milan have offered him a three-year deal with £120,000 per week in wages.

Bayern Munich are said to be keen on signing the striker while Rodrigo is also ready for a reunion with his cousin Thiago Alcantara at the Allianz Arena.

Max Meyer set to join Hoffenheim

Leipziger Volkszeitung has revealed that Max Meyer has agreed personal terms with Hoffenheim and will play under Julian Nagelsmann next season. The 22-year-old will join Hoffenheim on a free transfer from Schalke. Last month, Meyer had rejected Schalke's offer of an extension.

Manchester United reach an agreement with Talisca

Currently on loan at Besiktas from Benfica, Talisca is reportedly on his way to Manchester United this summer. Turkish journalist Firat Gunayer has tweeted that Manchester United have reached an agreement with the player. The attacking midfielder scored 20 goals for Besiktas this season.
