Inter strips Mauro Icardi of captaincy, sparks exit rumours
Inter Milan have officially announced Samir Handanovic as the new captain. Star striker Mauro Icardi, who has been extensively linked with a move away from the club, has been stripped of the same.
Earlier, Icardi's wife and agent Wanda Nara had said that the Argentine striker is ready to commit his future to Inter Milan if the club offers him a better deal. Real Madrid are expected to launch a move for him in the summer as they continue to look for a replacement for the ageing Karim Benzema.
Icardi is currently tied to Inter Milan till 2021.
Barcelona to make a final call on Ivan Rakitic's future
The Barcelona top brass is set to convene to make a final call on Ivan Rakitic's future, according to Sport. The report claims that Rakitic rejected a lucrative offer from French giants Paris Saint-Germain and asked Barcelona to give him a fresh contract.
However, Barcelona decided not to increase Rakitic's salary as the player is already 30-years-old and with Frenkie De Jong set to arrive from Ajax in a €75 million deal, they are getting a little close-fisted.
The Barcelona board is now all set to make a final call on the Croatian World Cup runner-up's future over the coming days.
Juventus to offer €50 million + Paulo Dybala for Mohamed Salah
The Old Lady, as per TuttoSport are desperate to add more firepower to their attacking unit and are now set to make a stunning offer for Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah. They will offer €50 million in cash + Paulo Dybala in a bid to sign the Egyptian in the summer.
Paulo Dybala has been widely rumoured to be ready to call it a day at Juventus as he believes that he has accomplished enough at Juventus. Liverpool's asking price for Mohamed Salah stands at a whopping €200 million and Juve are hoping that adding Dybala to the deal could help lower the price significantly.
Real Madrid to offer cash + Gareth Bale for Tottenham Hotspur ace
According to reports from Spain, Florentino Perez has turned to Tottenham Hotspur once again to help them restore their glory and this time around, the Blancos' target is Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen.
In order to secure his services from the North London outfit, Real Madrid are willing to offer cash + Gareth Bale in the hopes that the addition of the former Spurs player will take quite a chunk off Spurs' asking price for Eriksen.
Christian Eriksen has refused to extend his contract at Spurs and looks set to leave the club in the near future.
