Renato Sanches attracted a lot of attention earlier this summer when he requested to leave Bayern Munich. The 20-year old arrived at Bavaria only a year ago, but failed to impress club authorities and fans, alike. The midfielder was subsequently linked with moves to English Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal, but stunned the world when he moved to Swansea City on a loan deal, instead.Making his debut last night, Sanches and Swansea suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at the hands of Newcastle, and Twitter witnessed quite a hubbub over the Portuguese's contribution to the game.Disappointing day for all those that tuned in to PL football to watch an over powered FIFA player play in real life #renatosanches— Jon Willis (@jonw1ll1s) September 10, 2017#renatosanches looked like Santiago Munez in the Goal films today. After performing worse than expected, the debutant was widely slammed on social media by dissatisfied fans.People took to social media to express their discontentment, and even went as far as to claim that Sanches will not make it in England. Sad.— LordCKS (@LordCKS) September 10, 2017Despite facing intense criticism, Renato Sanches will know that this is just the beginning. He's talented enough to send Twitter into a happy frenzy on a weekly basis. The real question is, will he?
