Twitter reacts as Arsenal draw Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi-finals

Arsenal fans were eagerly waiting for the UEFA Europa League semi-final draw this afternoon and their worst fears were realised when they were drawn against Atletico Madrid.

This has been one of the worst ever league seasons for Arsenal and they are almost certain to finish outside the top-four. Their only hope of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League will be to win the UEFA Europa League.

Arsenal survived an initial scare and reached the semi-finals after beating CSKA Moscow 6-3 on aggregate and will be want to go all the way through.

However, they have been drawn against Atletico Madrid, perhaps the toughest opponent in the competition. Atletico qualified 1-2 on aggregate after beating Sporting Lisbon.
