Manchester City handed another superb performance as they totally outclassed Chelsea with a superb 6-0 scoreline. Sergio Aguero was selected as the man of the match following his terrific hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City made a few changes in the starting line-up as Ilkay Gundogan started at the heart of Man City's midfield with Fernandinho and Kevin De Bruyne. Aguero made another appearance with Sterling at his left-wing and Bernardo Silva at his right-wing. On the other hand, Chelsea came with their regular 4-3-3 formation where Ross Barkley started in place of Kovacic and Gonzalo Higuain made his second Premier League appearance under Maurizio Sarri.

Manchester City started the destruction as Raheem Sterling broke the deadlock in the fourth minute of the match. Sergio Aguero made it 2-0 for Man City as Zinchenko's pass found Aguero and the Argentinian made no mistake in putting the ball into the net. Six minutes later, Aguero's left footed shot found the net again. This time, Ross Barkley's miss-pass ball found the feet of Aguero. It was Gundogan who extended the lead for City at the 25th minute of the game.

In the second half, Pep Guardiola's brigade continued their unbelievable performance over Sarri's army. The situation became more chaotic when Chelsea conceded their 5th goal from a penalty. It was Sergio Aguero who completed another superb hat trick against a rival club. Chelsea fans started to leave the stands after this humiliation as Raheem Sterling scored his second goal to wrap up a magical night at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City claimed the top spot in the Premier League points table. They have gathered 65 points from 27 matches. Liverpool are second with the same number of points, but the Reds have one extra match in their hands. Chelsea fell to sixth with 50 points from 26 matches.
