Twitter reacts as Chelsea grab a slender win against Swansea City

Swansea City v Chelsea - Premier League
Fabregas scored his 50th Premier League goal

Chelsea picked up a massive 1-0 win against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium to keep themselves alive in the race for a top-four finish.

Cesc Fabregas' neat left-footed finish gave Chelsea the lead after just four minutes as the Spaniard ended his 27 match goal drought.

It was a game of two halves but the majority of the game proved to be stale and boring as both the teams did not possess any real goal threat.

However, Swansea created the better chances towards the closing stages of the game but lacked the quality and end product in the final third of the pitch.

The win lifts Chelsea up to 66 points, two behind Tottenham Hotspur and six behind Liverpool with a game whereas Swansea's winless run extends to six games and remain stuck on 33 points and in 17th place on the Premier League table.

The battle is heating up at opposite ends of the table in the quest for Champions League qualification as well as top-flight survival.
