Manchester City regained their position at the top of the Premier League table as they beat Chelsea 6-0 at Etihad Stadium. The Cityzens got off to a flying start as Raheem Sterling gave them an early lead in just the fourth minute of the game. Sergio Aguero then scored two goals in six minutes to put City three ahead before Ilkay Gundogan scored his fifth goal of the season to increase his team's advantage before the half time break.Aguero found the net again in the 56th minute to complete his hat-trick and Raheem Sterling made things worse for the Blues, by scoring his team's sixth goal 10 minutes before the full-time whistle. The Londoners looked totally helpless against the defending champions and were completely outclassed by Pep Guardiola's side. The Manchester-based side are currently at the top of the Premier League table, level on points with Liverpool. The defending Champions will play Newport County next in the FA Cup fifth round before making a trip to Germany to play Schalke 04 in the first leg of the Champions League round-of-16.On the other hand, Chelsea are now struggling after a promising start to the season under their new manager Maurizio Sarri, and are currently sixth in the Premier League table. They have lost three of their last four Premier League games and are yet to win a league game away from home in 2019.They will play Malmo FF in the Europa League next before hosting Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup on February 19.Fans reacted to Manchester City's victory on Twitter and here are some of the best tweets.Only one man who can save Chelsea now... 😂 pic.twitter.com/QDfJrZiv2t— FootballFunnys (@FootballFunnnys) February 10, 2019In case u didn't see the game, this is the highlight#MCICHE pic.twitter.com/pLYH0kL5NJ— Taiwo Adesegun (@SegunEfficient) February 10, 2019Sarri: “What time we kicking off?”Zola: “Every 10 mins boss”#MCICHE pic.twitter.com/s4IzOYqRBJ— BenchWarmers (@BeWarmers) February 10, 2019#MCICHE We are losing by 6 goals and Pep is still shouting at his boys.
