Chelsea and Manchester City’s game finished on a bad note

The emotions erupted to a whole new level towards the end of Chelsea’s 3-1 win against Manchester City at the Etihad today. Antonio Conte’s men came out all guns blazing in the second half after falling behind to a Gary Cahill own goal right at the stroke of half time. Chelsea have won eight league games in a row and are currently on top of the premier league standings.

The game saw an extraordinary brawl break out towards the dying minutes after Sergio Aguero’s disastrous high-footed tackle on David Luiz. As many as six players were involved in the scuffle and it resulted in a sending off for Aguero and Fernandinho, who was seen pushing Cesc Fabregas aggressively near the touchline. The managers and officials intervened to take the sting out of the event but it escalated to a whole new level, even beyond the touchline.
