The 2016/17 season is heading towards its business end and it has already given us plenty of memorable moments and goals. We have had scorpion kicks, overhead kicks and even some goals from half line.
While some star names like Xabi Alonso, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez feature, there are also plenty of fringe players like young Carlos Blanco from Juventus who showed us their class with some incredible moments of skill and magic.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Olivier Giroud scored two scorpion kicks within a week and then within two weeks Andy Carroll scored a scarcely believable bicycle kick which even outstripped Giroud’s goal to be crowned Premier League’s January goal of the month.
Some legends like Fernando Torres also turned back the clock year and he arguably scored la Liga’s goal of the year when he scored an insane bicycle kick to inspire Atletico Madrid to victory.
Also, can a video like this really be made without including the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Arguably the three best players in the world at the moment, the trio reminded every one of their class by scoring some truly sublime free-kicks in this season.
