New Monaco signings Eric Abidal, Ricardo Carvalho and Jeremy Toulalan were unveiled by the Ligue 1 side on Monday.
Eric Abidal“The paths of illness and my life have been crossed… Carvalho played for Real Madrid, Falcao that played for Atletico Madrid. The most important thing is that they are now in my team and we have the same objectives. This will help Monaco to win the championship and qualify for the Champions League.”
Ricardo Carvalho“I didn’t know most of the players but I was well received. Some of the players knocked on my door to take photos. I’m very proud to be here to help them to mature because most of them are quite young people.”
Jeremy Toulalan“I have the same objective that I had when I went to Malaga, there are some similarities. Monaco are not champions or Champions League winners today and when I went to Malaga, it was the same. I had a good season achieving our goals there. So, the project its the same. And that’s way I came here.”
