The Premier League is finally here and clubs have geared up as much as they can to keep teams and management in the best possible shape. Many of the big guns have had a change in management. Manchester City has been no exception as they replaced Manuel Pellegrini with the highly rated Pep Guardiola who had a fairly successful and impactful 3 seasons at Bayern Munich
Manchester City have wasted no time in the transfer market and have spent £165 million to sign players to build a team which should be catering to the styles and formation of the highly innovative Spaniard. The new players mean City will earn quite a bit through jersey sales which will be a hit if the players are a hit from the beginning

New Crest
Manchester City are undergoing major changes and they've also changed their crest for the first time since 1997. The new crest contains the gold ship that has been there in the club logo for almost a century. The three diagonal stripes which represent the rivers Irwell, Medlock and Irk are also there. The red rose of Lancashire is included and for the first time the founding year of the club, 1894 is printed on the badge.
Home Jersey
Manchester City is having a new crest this season but the kit manufacturer remains the same in Nike. The centre part of the jersey remains the standard sky blue with the sleeves having navy blue stripes over sky blue colour making the jersey look pretty attractive. The new crest remains on the left while the navy blue Nike logo is on the right side of the chest area.There is also a single strip navy blue along the side of the jersey vertically with the sponsors Etihad Airways being written in navy blue.
Away Jersey
The away jersey is designed on similar lines to the home kit with the club logo, Nike logo, and Etihad Airways badge having the golden yellow texture background. The main jersey in black and the sleeves have thin stripes of maroon. The sides of the jersey too like the home jersey has a single vertical strip, the only difference being the colour, this time being maroon.
