With the world all set to meet a new World Cup champion, WWE Divas showed off their true colours.
Argentina will face Germany in the final at Maracana on Sunday, July 13. The clash is a repeat of the 1986 and 1990 finals in which the two footballing superpowers met. Between them, they have five World Cup titles. Germany won in 1954, under captain Franz Beckenbauer in 1974, and with the Kaiser as manager in 1990. Argentina meanwhile won it on home soil in 1978 , while Diego Maradona's heroics led them to the title in 1986.
WWE meanwhile released a photoshoot that had its Divas sporting colours of the footballing nation they support at this World Cup. Nattie and Layla sported the Brazil jersey, to show their support for the Selecao. Though Neymar and co. were humiliated by Germany in the semi-final at Belo Horizonte, the Divas didn't shy away from sporting Brazil colours.
American girl Summer Rae decided to don the USA jersey, inspite of their early exit. The US side fought hard, but were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Belgium. Paige meanwhile was at the shoot in an England jersey. The Three Lions may have dissapointed their fans with a group stage exit, but still can count on the Brit diva as a true fan.
