The strategy that won Kami and Setty $200,000 in the most recent Fortnite Invitational tournament relied heavily on their landing spot. The duo dropped mid-map and built a base. This gave them access to many vaults and loot across the island, which they collected and saved inside their base.
How did Kami and Setty win the Fortnite Invitation 2022?
Once the pro duo had enough heals, they survived the Storm Circle for as long as they could. They also shot at rotating players to accumulate damage and avoid losing any health to Storm Surge. Kami and Setty then waited for the right zone to finally rotate. They began their rotation just 10 seconds before the circle set in to ensure all eyes were focused on finding a new spot.
Given the timing of their rotation, the pro Fortnite duo easily managed to sneak up on other teams and find the perfect place for the last few circles. Kami and Setty were always a step ahead of their enemies, giving them the advantage they needed to win the FNCS Invitational and take home the trophy with $200,000.
Kami and Setty's performance in the tournament earned them the title of the 'best duo in the world.' The duo's tactical genius will likely be replicated by many players and teams in upcoming tournaments, including FNCS Fortnite Chapter 4.
