All Holo Chest locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

After much anticipation, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has finally arrived. Players are flocking to the title's newest biome and its plethora of fresh POIs. Epic Games has set the mood for the season with an Asian flavor, and loopers are enjoying themselves in stunning Japanese-inspired spots like the Mega City point of interest and Kenjutsu Crossing.

Moreover, players have a vast arsenal of new weapons that can be used to fight their way to the top of the Battle Royale match. These guns can be obtainable in a number of different methods, the most prevalent of which is through loot chests. Unfortunately, these common containers only provide weapons of Uncommon or Rare value. To quickly acquire items of the Epic or Legendary rarity, many players turn to Holo Chests, which require keys to unlock.

It's also worth noting that this season sees the return of Heisted Exotics, which can be found in these chests, which have been scattered all around the Fortnite island. Every area where you can discover one of these Holo items is provided below.

Holo Chests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 are spread across the island

In Chapter 4 Season 1, Fortnite introduced Holo Chests, which could be unlocked by finding keys hidden around the map. A special feature of these containers is that they display a hologram of the weapon or item they contain.

Gamers can then use the key they have collected to access a Holo Chest of their choosing. When opened, the container instantly offers the item seen in the hologram. The overall number of Holo Chests in the most recent Chapter 4 Season 2 is 42, which is a huge increase compared to Fortnite's previous season. This time, though, they're concealed in less-frequented areas of the island. The following image provides all their locations.

If you look at the map above, you'll see that the new Mega City biome has the highest concentration of Holo Chests of all the biomes. In the prior season, players could find more than 11 of them in the snow biome using the keys they had acquired.

The latest biome, however, has surpassed that count by a wide margin, boasting an incredible 13 Holo Chests. The keys needed to open them can be found hidden in various spots or in loot chests around the map.

If you're having trouble locating the keys, one option is to use the Keymaster Augment to get two keys at once. One can also buy keys from CRZ-8 on the Fortnite island for 100 gold bars apiece.

North of Mega City, in the middle of a dueling circle, sits this entity — a futuristic snapshot of the 8 Ball vs. Scratch from Chapter 2 Season 1. A key may be purchased from him for 100 gold bars if the player approaches him. On top of that, players may challenge this NPC for a free Kinetic Blade and a regular Tactical Pistol.

Finding keys is not a tiresome chore on the island, but locating a good Holo Chest that offers a Heisted Exotic is considerably more difficult. However, players would be wise to visit Gas Stations around the Fortnite map, as these locations have a 100% chance to spawn Holo Chests.

The one between Mega City and Anvil Square has a container that, when opened with two keys, grants a Heisted Exotic. This was a popular weapon among players during Chapter 4 Season 1's Most Wanted event.
