Epic has made several interesting changes in the second season of the ongoing fourth chapter. Fortunately, Vending Machines are still in the game and provide players with useful items, from weapons to healing consumables.

Vending Machines have gone through numerous changes in Fortnite Battle Royale history. When they were first released into the video game, players had to spend building resources to obtain items from them.

Later on, Epic Games made all the items that were available in Vending Machines free. However, players would only be able to purchase one item before the machine disappeared, preventing anyone else from using it.

In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, there are two types of Vending Machines. One of them is called Weapon-o-Matic, and provides players with weapons, while the other is known as a Mending Machine and offers only healing items.

The image above reveals the locations of Weapon-o-Matic Vending Machines. Although every Fortnite biome has at least one such machine, certain locations, such as Mega City or The Citadel, have many more.

Although these machines do offer weapons, they aren't available for free as players must spend Gold Bars to purchase them. Additionally, players can also buy ammo from Weapon-o-Matic machines.

It should be mentioned that the loot available in Vending Machines is completely randomized. In one game, it may offer sniper rifles, while the same machine will have an assault rifle in the next game.

Mending Machines aren't as popular as Weapon-o-Matic machines, which is why there aren't too many of them in the game. Nevertheless, they're still quite useful and can be game-changers in certain situations.

Essentially, these machines offer healing items to players, ranging from bandages to small shield potions. In addition to these items, Fortnite players can purchase the Patch Up service for 100 Gold Bars in these machines, fully restoring their health.

It's important to note that Epic Games could potentially change the Vending Machine locations with a future Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 update. However, most of them will remain in the game until the end of the season.
