Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event leak: Stargazing telescope, new map, minigames, and more

With the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event a few days away, more information regarding the same is being leaked online. This time around, @Egyptian_Leaker, has shared some spoilers on Twitter outlining the things that will take place during the event.

This information is based on what was discovered within the event files. Given that it comes from Epic Games themselves, there's a very good chance that everything mentioned in this article will come to fruition. That said, here are the details.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event leaks are becoming more frequent

1) Pre-event quests/challenges

Although it's currently unclear why Epic Games did this, it seems that players will be able to undertake quests during the live event. According to the leakers, these quests will be part of the storyline to a large extent. They also mentioned that the total duration of the event may exceed 40 minutes.

This explains how and why players will be allowed to join the event after it begins. On that note, some leakers are under the impression that these quests may include mini-games. Given how popular they are in Creative mode, it's a good way to pass the time.

That said, it's best not to join in late as being left behind and missing out on the live event would be a shame. The “Fracture” playlist will be available in the game 30 minutes prior to 4 pm ET on December 3. It's advised that players enter the lobby as soon as possible.

2) Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?

The leaker also mentions that there will be telescopes that players will be able to use for stargazing. Given that telescopes were part of the storyline during the end of Chapter 2 Season 6 shortly before The Last Reality could invade, this has nostalgia written all over it.

This time around, instead of viewing a Mothership through the lens, players will be able to see the stars. This is part of the live event as the leaker further explains that a certain star will be revealed at some point during the event. Players will likely be able to focus on it through the telescope.

What's fascinating about this fact is that the new map for Chapter 4 is codenamed "Asteria," which means 'star' in Greek. However, it's still unclear what role this burning ball of gasses will play in the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event.

3) Zero Fragment Back Bling

Players will be able to get two free Back Blings before Chapter 4 begins. The first one is called Toasty Roast and will be given to players that log into the game from December 2 at 9 am ET to December 4 at 2:45 am ET. Since it will be given out prior to the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event, it has gained a lot of traction.

However, most players are unaware that they will also receive a Back Bling by attending the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event. This one is called Zero Fragment. Its portrait looks like a distorted image of the island that has been split into three parts with The Zero Point in the middle.

What's interesting about this Back Bling is that it's codenamed 'star' in the files. When combining this information with telescopes and stargazing, it's easy to see how everything is connected. Despite the 'why' and 'how' remaining largely unknown, there's a lot at play here. Thankfully, it won't be long until players get to experience things for themselves.

4) Reality Zero's island will crumble

Reality Zero's island will crumble and break into pieces during the live event. If the official key art and numerous Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event leaks weren't enough to make this obvious, Epic Games revealed a teaser of their own. A few hours ago, they posted a picture of Mancake floating in space with a quote that read:

"Oh, the bittersweet feeling of the world crumbling beneath you."

This confirms that the island will be broken down into tiny pieces come what may. This is rather interesting as the community was expecting another black hole event due to the extended downtime that will occur once the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event ends.

While major downtime will still occur, the possibility of another black hole sucking in reality can be struck off the list. That said, it's truly fascinating to see what Epic Games has in store for the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 live event.
