Can you unlock all Augments at once in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1? No, players cannot unlock every Augment all at once or over the span of a single match. Since only a total of four can be selected and used during a match, it's impossible to unlock all of the game's 22 Augments at a time.

Re-rolling them will not work either as they can only be unlocked after being selected at least once. Having said that, it should be noted that a few Augments are rarer than others and do not appear in-game very often. It should also be noted that there's no way to predict or know which Augments will be made available to a player during a match.

Are Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 pay-to-win/pay-to-progress?

No, there are no pay-to-win or pay-to-progress mechanics related to Augments in Fortnite. Since they work on the principle of random number generators (RNG), a player can receive any Augment during the course of a match.

For those who are yet to unlock all Augments, they can do so by playing with teammates who have all of them unlocked. There's a chance that the player will be able to select an Augment that's missing from their collection. However, since it's completely random, this may or may not occur during the course of a match.

On that note, there's a rumor going on about how Battle Pass holders will be able to unlock all Augments sooner by leveling up. This is false and has been debunked by Epic Games' CEO, Tim Sweeney:

"Fortnite Augments aren't tied to the Battle Pass or spending at all. I found the text you screenshotted on a couple of third-party sites, and that's just confusion on their end. Battle Pass and all of the systems in it should never affect gameplay outcomes."

In reality, unlocking Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has been a fairly slow process for everyone. Epic Games has confirmed that an issue is causing Reality Augments to take longer than intended to unlock for players.

Will more Augments be added in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

Yes, according to leakers and data miners, more Augments will be added to the game shortly. In all probability, these will be introduced during the mid-season period to make the game more interesting. With that said, here's a list of the upcoming Augments:

  1. Midas Touch: 40 AR Ammo (one-time) and Gold Bars for every elimination (Player/AI)
  2. Peely's Plunder: Gives a Treasure Map
  3. Skill Check: Gives 50 HP and 25 SP (Shield Points) for eliminations scored with a Common/Uncommon weapon
  4. Siphon Shotgun: Restores Shields and HP when damage is inflicted upon opponents (Player/AI)
  5. Shadow Strike: Gives a Shadow Bomb
  6. RiftJector Seat: Auto rifts the user when Shields breaks (40 second cooldown)
  7. Icy Slide: Gives the Icy Feet effect for seven seconds
  8. Zero Shield Zero Chance: Gives the Zero Point Effect for eight seconds after Shields break
  9. Hunter Gather: Spawns a Bush, Apples, and Mushrooms in the spot where an opponent has been eliminated
  10. Danger Hero: Sprint and heal fast for eight seconds after Shields break
  11. Deft Hands: Auto reloads a specific unknown weapon every second even after it's switched out for another weapon/item

At the moment, there's no timeline in place to suggest when these will be added to Chapter 4 Season 1. Nevertheless, once they have been added, the total number of Augments in the game will rise to 33.
