One of the most awaited collaborations in Fortnite that was teased in the Chapter 4 cinematic is finally here. YouTuber MrBeast has entered the Fortnite metaverse and is bringing an exciting tournament with a chance to win $1 million.

The tournament goes live later today (December 17, 2022) from 12 pm ET to 3 pm ET, and players will see MrBeast's Extreme Survival Challenge creative map in the competitive playlist. The exciting map full of thrilling challenges and tasks has been created by Team Atlas Creative (Island Code: 7990-6907-8565). Players will have to make it through several stages and mini-games to earn a score.

The player with the highest score at the end of the tournament will go home with $1 million in cash and will also etch their name in history after winning the biggest open Fortnite tournament so far. The top 100,000 players stand a chance to win the golden Beast Brella Umbrella, a rare cosmetic that will only be granted during the event.

To complete the challenges, Fortnite players will need to test their skills in games like Red Light - Green Light, Briefcase Hunt, The Floor is Lava, and the MrBeast Maze. Players will find Coins while playing the games that can help them get a higher score. Here's a guide on where they can find Coins in the extreme Maze level to get a higher score.

Collect up to nine Coins in the MrBeast Maze map challenge in Fortnite

Players can find up to nine Coins across the Maze map in MrBeast's Extreme Survival Challenge creative map in Fortnite. These mini-games are chosen at random, which means players can get the Maze level either at the beginning or at the very end of their survival journey.

The locations of the Coins in the Maze map are marked in the picture above. Players will begin the Maze level from one of four random spots and will have to make their way to the center. Since the Mantle mechanic has been disabled, players won't be able to hop over the hedges.

Players can spawn at any one of the four starting spots marked on the map. Once they begin, a 30-second timer will start ticking, which means they'll need to find the center of the maze before time runs out. If they are unsuccessful, they'll automatically get sent back to the Hexagonal floor level where the challenge begins.

Before the tournament goes live in Fortnite, players can head to the Creative Map to practice and try earning Coins. In the tournament, the match in which a player scores the highest across the different games will be counted as their top score on the tournament leaderboard.
