Fortnite players are getting a free reward for a limited time period only, here's how to redeem

Fortnite players currently have a unique opportunity to claim yet another limited-time cosmetic item. Chapter 4 Season 1 showcases a medieval theme and its main character is The Ageless, a knight located inside a castle.

With the release of the v23.20 update on Wednesday, January 18, Epic Games released the Rift Warden Stellan outfit, along with a few other cosmetic items. One of these items is obtainable for free, but only for a limited time.

The latest Fortnite update also introduced the second part of the Oathbound questline, which is connected to the storyline of Chapter 4 Season 1 and features the Rift Warden Stellan. Players who complete four quests from the second part will receive an exclusive loading screen. This loading screen features an image of The Citadel, which is currently used as a lobby screen.

It should be noted the Oathbound questline has a timer, which means that players have a limited time to complete it and obtain the free cosmetic reward. Players will have until Tuesday, January 31, 2023 to claim this item.

Although obtaining the free Fortnite cosmetic item is a fairly easy process, it will take some effort and time. The second part of the questline has only four quests and they can be completed in just a few minutes.

Fortunately, these quests can be completed in the popular Team Rumble game mode. Since the questline has several stages, you can complete multiple quests in a single Team Rumble match, which makes it an amazing option.

To start the questline, you will have to go into a Fortnite match and find the Rift Warden Stellan hologram. Once you interact with it, the character will give you a couple of easy tasks to complete.

All of these tasks have multiple stages, which you can complete in a single match. The best part is that each stage can be completed in just a few seconds and will grant you 20,000 XP each as a reward.

Once you are done with the first four tasks that Rift Warden Stellan gives you, you will have to find the character again and receive new quests. You will have to find a hologram once again, but this time, the hologram will appear at another location. You can find it easily by accessing the in-game map.

After you complete another set of tasks, you will have to locate another hologram. This time, you must get in touch with AMIE, who will give you a few more tasks to complete.

Once you're done with them, you'll earn plenty of XP and gain at least two levels from these quests. You will also receive an exclusive Fortnite cosmetic item, which will appear in your locker once you complete the match.
