Leaks indicate that the popular Fortnite event Reboot Rally is expected to return to Chapter 4 at some point. Epic Games organizes it on a recurring basis to entice players to return to the game by offering them great rewards.

As per leaks circulating on social media, Epic Games has recently messed with the Reboot Rally rewards, which is usually the biggest indicator that they're planning to bring back an event.

For now, it appears that Epic is using placeholder rewards. Typically, the items offered during the Reboot Rally are excellent. Most players tend to participate in this event, and some even have alternate accounts they never use for that very purpose.

Fortnite Reboot Rally may be making a comeback in Chapter 4

In all likelihood, Reboot Rally is returning to Fortnite, most presumably for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, which begins in March. It would be strange to try and bring players back during an ongoing season.

One may be certain that Epic Games is using placeholders for the rewards at the moment. The MrBeast umbrella has already been released as part of a set, and the other rewards don't make much sense either.

That said, there is a slim chance that Epic is completely changing how they do things. Most players are hoping that the placeholders are only there to prevent the leak of the real rewards ahead of time.

Reboot Rally took place at the beginning of Chapter 4 to bring players back for the new chapter. It may seem odd that they're potentially doing it again so soon, but if it is going to happen, one can expect it at the beginning of a new season.

How to participate in Fortnite Reboot Rally

These are typically the steps to participate, but the process may look different this time. Keep in mind that you can only follow these instructions after Epic officially launches the event.

Step 1: Register

The first step is registering the event account; otherwise, the challenges will be unavailable. The site will become available once the event starts.

You can do this with three friends, and only one of them must be returning after 30 days. It won't hurt your chances if the rest have been active recently.

Step 2: Find people to play with

You can find people to play with in the Friends tab of the game. You can check to see if your friends are eligible for the event and invite them accordingly.

Step 3: Rally them back

The "Rally 'em back" option is available for qualifying friends. It will send them an invite, and the link can then be shared from there.

Step 4: Complete challenges together

Once you have the friends you need, you can start completing the challenges. The picture above is of the previous event, so the quests will probably be different this time. However, you will still have to earn points with friends to get the rewards.
