Fortnite 'Trash Man' skin concept is literal gold with raccoons 

Presently, the market for concept skins in Fortnite is booming. Creative outfits generally get added to the Item Shop, with a select few being featured in the Battle Pass as well. While this has been going on for some time now, the developers have recently started to collaborate more closely with the game's community.

As a result, more interesting and wacky Outfits are being created by concept artists. One such artist, known as Outrage_MK2 (peco), has created something that can only be described as 'trashy.'

The Trashman concept skin for Fortnite has won over the community

When the word 'trashy' is used, it's mostly done so to signify that something, or in certain cases, someone, is of poor quality. However, in this scenario, 'trashy' is the best way to describe this intriguing Fortnite concept skin. Nicknamed 'The Trashman,' this concept outfit definitely has everything going for it.

From the very idea to the overall execution and associated cosmetic items, it's one of those concept skins that's likely to become an overnight sensation and rightfully so. Interestingly, the skin in question is centered around a literal trash can. While it's unclear who or what populates this trash can, it's certainly adorable to look at, with even the renowned concept artist D3NNI applauding the creation.

While it does take inspiration from other Outfits that are available in-game, these are added as footnote elements to the skin so as to add flavor. One might argue that the design in question is rather goofy, but that's the entire point behind it. The Outfit, or rather, the trash can has graffiti sprayed on it as well, which adds to the overall design.

Moving away from this unique Fortnite Outfit and onto its accessories, the Back Bling and Harvesting Tool are extremely unique. Starting off with the Harvesting Tool (Treasure Collector), it seems to be an instrument that's used to pick up roadside trash. Although it looks rather shabby, it definitely fits in well with the overall theme.

The Back Bling (Family of Three), on the other hand, is an instant 'win.' It features three 'trash pandas' nestled together in a dumpster. While the concept artist does mention that the Back Bling is reactive, it's currently open to interpretation as to how that would function in-game.

Nevertheless, with pet-themed Back Blings being one of the most sought-after cosmetics in-game, owning this item alone would suffice for many. On that note, here's what community members have to say about the concept Outfit:

Judging from the overwhelming positive feedback, it's safe to say that the community loves this 'trashy' concept Outfit. Although it's simple in design, it goes back to the basics of what skins were once upon a time in Fortnite.

Will The Trashman be a good Fortnite Outfit for competitive gameplay?

Probably not, but that's not the point of the skin to begin with. With that being said, with so many types of players in the community, this skin will most likely appeal to many of them, if not all. Since most concept skins are added to the Item Shop, players can choose if they want to buy the skin or not.

That said, given how popular this concept has become on social media platforms such as Twitter and Reddit, Epic Games will likely consider adding it in-game. If not soon, this could potentially happen sometime in the future.
