How to find a power plug in Fortnite Chapter 4

The latest v23.30 update dropped in Fortnite earlier this week and brought several new items, a fresh collaboration, and five new Reality Augments that will take gameplay to the next level. This week, players saw the return of Dragon Ball Z with two new skins and their favorite mythic items, Kamehameha and the Nimbus Cloud, making a comeback.

Alongside these, a brand new set of weekly and Oathbound Quests were also added, which will further help the loopers to level up faster across their Battle Pass and unlock the mid-season drops with ease. However, weekly quests grant 16,000 XP upon completion whereas the Oathbound variants grant 20,000 XP each.

This week, Part 3 of Oathbound Quests arrived in the game, further progressing the medieval storyline that has been going on this Fortnite Season.

In the new set of quests, Stellan progresses the work on building the Rift Gate even further for The Ageless Champion, with the help of loopers by assigning them some tasks. Here's how you can complete the one where you need to find a power plug on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 island.

Fortnite Oathbound Quest Part 3 Stage 3 guide: Find a power plug

The third stage of the latest Oathbound Quests Part 3 requires players to find a power plug near The Citadel, as instructed by Rift Warden Stellan during the previous stage.

Stellan also let the loopers in on how he got associated with The Oathbound and that there are certain secrets he carried all along, which will slowly unfold as players progress along the questline.

To complete this particular quest from Part 3 of the questline, follow these simple steps:

1) Head to the Oathbound Quests Tab to find the location of the power plug

To start off, open up the Quest tab on the sidebar and navigate to Oathbound Quests. Once you're there, click on the highlighted one and navigate to the Fortnite map. Here, you'll be able to see the marked location of the power plug.

Upon looking at this map, you'll notice that there are three marked locations where the power plug is located. You can choose to head over to any one of the, and collect it from there.

2) Grab a weapon at The Citadel to defend yourself

The Citadel is one of the hottest drops on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map. Unfortunately, the Oathbound Quest you are out to complete can only be done if you land at the named location.

Hence, it would be wise to arm yourselves with a weapon you may find as floor loot, from chests or by purchasing from a vending machine. However, one of the locations that contains the power plug has a vending machine nearby that could come into use as you can directly get a weapon and go. In the image above, the room next to the machine holds the desired item.

3) Interact with the power plug to complete the quest

Once you enter the room, locate the power plug using the white marker on your HUD. Once you see it placed on the ground, walk closer towards it and press the interact button. Upon interaction, the plug will disappear and you will be able to see your Fortnite Oathbound quest completed via the quest progress bar that pops up on your screen.

Once completed, you will be rewarded with 20,000 XP that can help you level up your account faster. However, in the next few stages, Stellan will require you to complete a few more tasks that will power up the completed Rift Gate. It is installed right next to The Citadel and will soon be seen in action in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 as a doorway to opening new realities.
