Fortnite players are spoiled by Epic Games. For starters, the game is entirely free-to-play, so there's no barrier to entry. Additionally, individuals are routinely given free cosmetics to use in the title. These provide no advantage, but they make the game a lot more fun.

The PlayStation Plus pack is a great way to get free rewards, as qualifying players get these packs several times a year.

As Fortnite Wiki puts it:

"The PlayStation Plus Celebration Packs are rewards for active PlayStation Plus members. They release four of them a year. They have given away Outfits, Back Blings, Harvesting Tools, Gliders, Contrails, Emotes, Emoticons, Sprays, Wraps, Banners, and Loading Screens. They have never given away a Music Pack."

Many gamers' lockers are full of PlayStation Plus rewards. Here's what the latest pack will contain and how to get it for free.

Fortnite PlayStation Plus pack: Unlock the cosmetics for free

The pack will have three free cosmetics. The Jun-Hwan skin, the matching Ember Holster back bling, and the Ember Batons pickaxe. These will all come in the same pack and were leaked a while back thanks to the v22.40 update.

To qualify for this free pack is rather simple, as all players are required to do is have an active PlayStation Plus account. Fortnite is an online multiplayer game, so players must have an online subscription for their console.

It could be Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch Online, or others, but for PlayStation users, it's the PlayStation Plus subscription that is integral. It costs $59.99 a year to subscribe or $14.99 a month.

The majority of PlayStation players have this and will therefore get the pack automatically. If the pack seems worth it, others in the scene can consider signing up for a month to get it and then let it expire.

Most skins and cosmetics aren't worth $14.99 in general, but this is a way non-PlayStation users could get these cosmetics.

Unfortunately, it's very unlikely that any of these cosmetics will eventually enter the Item Shop. There aren't many exclusives for platforms, so the ones that come out as exclusives tend to stay that way.

This pack will also not be available forever, so gamers who want it should subscribe sooner rather than later.

Other skins in PlayStation Plus packs

There have been several PlayStation Plus Fortnite packs since 2018 when they first began. These include:

  • Blue Team Leader
  • Blue Striker
  • Prodigy
  • Carbon Commando
  • Trilogy
  • Point Patroller
  • Cloud Striker
  • Fixer
  • Sultura
  • Blizzard Bomber

Not all the packs have had skins, though they have all had several different cosmetics. So far, there have been 19 total PlayStation Plus Fortnite packs, with the 20th on the way soon.

It is important to note that these skins and cosmetics were leaked. As a result, this information can't be guaranteed. Another PlayStation Plus pack is likely to be released and may hold the Jun-Hwan skin among the other mentioned cosmetics.

However, until it is announced or it officially arrives in Fortnite, they are considered speculative at best.
