How to go to Save The World in Fortnite? Explained

Fortnite is an exceptionally popular game, but Battle Royale is far from the only thing it has to offer. BR is just one of three potential game modes that one can access in the title. The other two are Creative and Save the World.

Accessing Save the World in Fortnite: A complete guide

Step 1: Open Fortnite

Turn on whatever device you use to play the game, like the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, mobile device, etc. Then, open the Fortnite application and load in. If prompted, log in with the correct account.

In the lobby, there are several options; you can change the team (solo/duos/squad) and the game mode from here. In this case, you need to do the latter. This can be accomplished by using the mouse or the appropriate button on a controller (varies by console). Essentially, you have to click or select the option that says Battle Royale.

Step 3: Change to Save the World

After that, all the options will be presented to you. This includes all Creative games, time-limited modes from Epic Games, Solo, Duos, Save the World, and more. The mode you want will be found in the "By Epic" section. You can favorite this so that it is even easier to access later on.

By selecting it, you will open the game mode in the same exact way as Creative. Once you're in, you can start playing Save the World.

Where Battle Royale is a player-vs-player mode, Save the World is PvE, player vs. everyone. Gamers will complete missions, resist waves of zombies, and more in the latter option.
