How to place the plug in the power socket in Fortnite Chapter 4

The latest Fortnite update v23.30 was dropped earlier this week and introduced several new Augments, a brand new Crew Pack for February, and yet another Dragon Ball Z collaboration. Players saw the return of their favorite Mythic items Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud, with the popular Deku's Smash already available in-game.

The highly anticipated Part 3 of Oathbound Quests were added to the game as well, progressing the ongoing medieval storyline this season. While these quests help loopers unravel the mystery surrounding Oathbound and its interesting characters such as Rift Warden Stellan and The Ageless Champion, they grant a generous amount of XP upon completion as well.

In the previous stages of Oathbound Quests, Stellan built the Rift Gate with the help of loopers and now requires a viable energy source to power it up. To achieve this, players will need to place a power plug in a socket for this quest. Here's how you can complete the required quest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

Fortnite Oathbound Quest Part 3 Stage 4 guide: Place the plug in the power socket

The fourth stage of the latest Oathbound Quests Part 3 requires players to place the power plug that they found in the previous stage at the Citadel in the same power socket that they placed in stage 2. Upon following the instructions of Rift Warden Stellan, players will proceed across the current stages of the questline.

To complete this particular quest from Part 3 of the questline, follow these simple steps:

1) Head to the Oathbound Quests Tab to find the location of the power socket

To start off, open up the Quest tab on the sidebar and navigate to Oathbound Quests. Once you're there, click on the highlighted one and navigate to the Fortnite map. Here, you'll be able to see the marked location of the power socket.

Upon looking at this map, you'll notice that the marked location is the same where you placed tech equipment in stage 2 of the questline. Retrace your steps from the location of the power plug back to the socket where you previously completed the quest.

2) Make sure you're armed and head carefully into the equipment room

As soon as you land here, make sure that you've got some weapons before heading inside the equipment room as there could be enemies camping inside, waiting for someone like you to enter. As a result, it would be wise to be well stacked and prepared for any kind of action you might face inside. Eliminate any enemies that you encounter nearby before heading into the room.

3) Interact with the Power Socket to complete the quest

When you think you're safe, head inside the room and locate the power socket attached to the wall on your right. Walk closer to the socket and interact with the blue socket. Upon interacting with it, you'll be able to see the power plug placed inside and your quest progress bar will pop up, letting you know that you've successfully completed the stage 4 challenge.

Once completed, you will be rewarded with 20,000 XP to help you level up your Battle Pass faster. In the next few stages, Stellan will require you to complete a few more tasks that will power up the completed Rift Gate. The structure is installed right next to The Citadel and will soon be seen in action in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 as a doorway to opening new realities.
