Fortnite Chapter 4 leak reveals new Deku's Smash Mythic weapon 

Fortnite Chapter 4 has been out for less than two weeks, yet Epic Games has already released its first major update. v23.10 was released on Tuesday, December 13, and has brought a lot of new content, including Deku's Smash Mythic weapon.

The My Hero Academia character was first revealed in the Fortnite Chapter 4 trailer, released shortly after the Chapter 3-ending event. Many players were excited to see Deku in the trailer, and Epic decided to bring him out early in the new season.

With the Fortnite Chapter 4 trailer, the video game creator revealed a lot of upcoming items. From a drone that scans enemies to a new Mythic ability, Epic Games gave players a sneak peek at future content.

By the end of the trailer, Deku from My Hero Academia is seen using a new ability that has never been seen in the game before. Due to this, many players correctly assumed this would be a new Mythic ability.

Shortly after the v23.10 update was released, Fortnite leakers revealed upcoming content, including Deku's Smash Mythic ability. This was added to the video game with the update, but it may not be available after the servers come back up.

Instead, we expect Epic Games to release it on Friday, December 16. This is when Deku will also be released to the Item Shop, so it makes sense for Epic to release his Mythic ability.

A few months ago, the development team released the Kamehameha Mythic ability with the Dragon Ball Super collaboration, and this is exactly what will happen again with the new anime collab.

How does Deku's Smash Mythic ability work?

Thanks to Fortnite leakers, we already know what the new Mythic ability will look like and how it will work when it finally comes out. The video above shows that the new ability will be similar to Kamehameha.

Instead of charging up and shooting a beam of energy, the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 4 item will allow players to dash forward and cause melee damage to their enemies.

Once again, players will be up in the air while initially charging the ability. The charging process will take three seconds; during this phase, players will be exposed to enemy attacks.

According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, the Fortnite Chapter 4 Mythic ability will come with three charges. Several others have also revealed a new type of supply drop, meaning that the ability will most likely be obtained from it.

Considering that the Kamehameha ability is obtainable from special vending machines, there is a chance that Epic Games will do the same with Deku's Smash.
