Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is just around the corner. The new season of the popular video game is scheduled to be released on Sunday, December 4, and players cannot wait to see what it brings.

Considering that Epic Games will release a new chapter, we expect massive changes to come into the game. As with every other chapter, Fortnite Chapter 4 will bring a new map, mechanics, and more.

It appears that the upcoming map has already been leaked. Last year, a leak showed 11 new locations the developers could add to the game. Considering that these locations are yet to be added in Chapter 3, we expect them to come next month.

The new season of the popular video game will begin after the "Fracture" live event, which will take place on Saturday, December 3. Considering that we will get a new chapter, there is a good chance that the downtime will last for more than 12 hours.

The live event will likely end around 4:30 PM Eastern Time and will bring a new "To Be Continued" screen. Most updates come out at 4:00 AM Eastern Time, but that may not be the case with the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 update.

After all, the update will bring many new things, so Epic Games may need more time to set it up.

Last year, 11 new locations were leaked. For some reason, Epic Games added these locations to the game data, which is why more players and leakers believed Epic would use them for a new limited-time game mode.

Here are all the leaked locations:

  • Canoe Shop
  • Dragons Maw Cave
  • Farm
  • Forest Ruins
  • Haunted Hotel
  • Hiking Visitors Center
  • Hydro Power Station
  • Camp
  • Castle
  • Mansion
  • Prison

Despite adding these locations to the game data, Epic Games still needs to release them to live servers. Due to this, many fans believe the locations will be released in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

Considering that the list above includes a prison and a mansion, there is a chance that Epic Games will bring back some of Chapter 1 named locations to the game.

The Fracture could bring old maps back

Reddit user Working_Anxiety3072 shared an exciting concept of what the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map could look like. The player believes that the Fracture will bring back old maps and combine them into one map.

As seen in the post above, the island's western side is taken by the Chapter 1 map, while the map of the second chapter is located in the southern part. The current map will also remain in the game and will be located in the northeast corner of the new island.

While this is just a concept, it looks fascinating and could be similar to what Epic Games has planned.
