According to iFireMonkey, one of the most reputable Fortnite leakers, Epic Games has developed at least eight new Exotic items. Most of these items will be released to the video game at some point, but some have been scrapped.

Epic has released numerous Exotic items into Fortnite Battle Royale over the last few years. They first appeared in Chapter 2 Season 5, when Epic introduced gold bars to the game.

Most of these items are purchased with gold bars, so adding them made a lot of sense.

The Balloon Sniper will likely be a long-range rifle that will shoot balloons at enemies. Balloons may or may not deal damage as they are mostly used for mobility, which can be an inconvenience to players.

Rift Pistol will likely teleport enemy players. The leaked Exotic item may be added because Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will be introduced with a rift in the sky.

Gas Sniper sounds like a combination of a sniper rifle and stink bomb, while the Flare Shotgun might be another version of Dragon Breath's Shotgun, one of the first Exotic items in Fortnite. As per the Fortnite leak, Epic has also worked on adding a Slug Projectile Shotgun.

The Fortnite Battle Royale leak reveals that Epic Games has worked on developing three different grenade launchers. One of them, the Firefly Grenade Launcher, was added to the game data during Chapter 4 Season 1. Most players thought it would be released during the season, but that did not happen.

As its name indicates, the weapon shoots fireflies at enemies, causing impact and periodical damage.

The Gas Grenade Launcher could be similar to the Stink Bow. However, this could also mean that Epic Games plans to bring the Smoke Bomb back. This item is very interesting and would be a perfect addition to the game, especially in Zero Build modes.

Finally, the Boogie Bomb Grenade Launcher would essentially be a long-distance Boogie Bomb. This is another fan-favorite item, so releasing another variant would make many players happy.
