Fortnite leaks predict potential Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration in Chapter 5 Season 3

According to the latest Fortnite leaks, it would seem that a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will be occurring during Chapter 5 Season 3. The information was brought to light following the leak on 4chan that supposedly showcases Epic Games' roadmap for 2024. While the leakers/dataminers are still not quite sure about the authenticity of the leaked image, some of the things showcased on it are about to come true in-game.

The Star Wars collaboration was officially confirmed a few days before these major Fortnite leaks. As such, there is quite a lot of truth to the matter at hand. Additionally, this is not the first time that leakers/dataminers and/or insiders have spoken about a potential Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.

On January 28, 2024, the Xboxera podcast suggested that Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean could potentially be coming to Fortnite in the future. While no timeline was provided, the hosts of the podcast have correctly and accurately predicted quite a few collaborations in the past. With the image leaked on 4chan showcasing Pirates of the Caribbean artwork, it seems more than a mere coincidence. That said, here is more on the topic at hand.

Fortnite leaks suggest Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration could start in July 2024

While information about this potential collaboration is limited, veteran leaker/dataminer HYPEX suggests that it could start in July 2024. This would be sometime towards the middle of Chapter 5 Season 3. Taking into account that major collaborations are kept for mid-season content, it makes sense. Epic Games has been following this pattern for a while now.

If these Fortnite leaks are true, this will coincide with the upcoming Metallica collaboration as well. Since major crossovers tend to overlap every now and then, this is indeed a possibility unless Epic Games has something else planned. That being said, the scope of the collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean remains unknown.

Based on the rumors mentioned earlier this year, Jack Sparrow could be featured as a skin/outfit in-game. Given his legacy in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, he would be the most obvious choice. Aside from him, others such as Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and Hector Barbossa could also be featured in-game alongside additional cosmetics.

Taking into account the upcoming Star Wars collaboration could feature assets in LEGO Fortnite, the same could happen with Pirates of the Caribbean. Ships could be added to the game, allowing players to explore waterways. While finding large bodies of water would depend on their LEGO Fortnite seeds, it's not impossible. That being said, more potential Fortnite leaks about the same will start appearing online by the end of Chapter 5 Season 2.
