The best thing about chickens in Fortnite is that they remove fall damage. If a player is holding onto a chicken while falling from a great height, they will take no damage. Although it can be sniped or shot at to be eliminated, the odds of it happening are slim.

That said, Epic Games is offering 20,000 XP for players that are able to fall from 4 stories while holding a chicken. While there's no combat involved in the challenge, setting things up will take some time.

A step-by-step guide on how to fall 4 stories while holding a chicken in Fortnite

1) Find a chicken after securing loot

Before attempting the challenge, the first thing that players must do is secure basic loot. With Avian Ambush Week featuring chicken-related challenges, players are bound to run into opponents trying to complete them as well. That said, some basic weapons, shield potions, and ammo should suffice for the early-game.

Once properly geared up, the next step is to find a chicken in a quiet location that's closest to high ground. The best option is Lustrous Lagoon. Although it is considered an active location, during the early-game, it's fairly safe.

2) Look for high ground or build to reach high ground

Since the challenge can be done in both the Zero Build and normal build mode, there are two ways to go about things. In the Zero Build mode, players will have to find high ground in the form of cliffs, hilltops, and structures.

In the normal build mode, players can build to the required height anywhere on the map. Thus, taking this into consideration, Lustrous Lagoon will be ideal for both types of players. The high ground surrounding the crater can be used as a jumping platform.

3) Stand at the edge of the high ground and mark to check the height

With a chicken in hand, players should stand at the edge of the high ground and mark the location below to check the height. Four stories, when converted to meters, is roughly 14.

However, to be on the safe side, it's best to use the marking feature to double check the height. If the distance from the jump location to the intended landing spot falls short, players will have to set things up again. For this reason, it's best to ensure things are done properly the first time around.

4) Jump with the chicken

After double-checking the numeric value, the last step of the challenge is to jump off the high ground while holding the chicken. If players decide to undertake this challenge at Lustrous Lagoon, they should rotate to the top of the cliff and use a D-Launcher as well to complete another challenge.

Instead of 20,000 XP, they'll be awarded 40,000 XP in a matter of seconds. With Chapter 3 coming to an end, reaching level 200 is of the utmost importance for Battle Pass owners.
