Fortnite Winterfest 2022 skins and details leak ahead of Chapter 4 Season 1

Chapter 4 of the popular free-to-play battle royale game Fortnite is finally here with a brand new island, gameplay, several new weapons, and a fully revamped UI and Battle Pass. Last night, the Chapter 3 Finale Fracture event concluded, allowing players to compete and gather fragments to power up the Zero Point and piece the new island together.

Upon completion, players were able to catch a glimpse of the all-new island that awaits their arrival in a jacked-up Battle Bus that now runs on boosters. However, as downtime is underway, several leaks for the upcoming season and chapter are surfacing across the internet, leaving players in anticipation for the servers to go live.

From the latest Battle Pass, weapons, UI, and new gameplay features, Fortnite Chapter 4 has a lot to offer players. However, that's not all. Another major event coinciding with the holiday season is arriving this month - Winterfest.

Several leaks regarding Winterfest 2022 have been dropped, including new cosmetics, the Winterfest cabin, and the background that players will receive during the Christmas update. Here are some details regarding the leak:

Glider, Emote, Contrails, and more leaked ahead of Fortnite Chapter 4 Winterfest 2022

Based on leaks posted by FNLeaksandInfo on Twitter, Epic will continue its Christmas tradition by bringing Winterfest to fans in Chapter 4, and will also feature a similar redemption system as in previous editions of the event. The leak revealed a brand new Winter Lodge, now hosted by Jones and another unfamiliar Fortnite character that might be a part of the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass.

They can be seen sitting on a couch in front of the infamous fireplace, playing video games with gifts lying on the floor. The leak also shows that players can open eight presents in the lodge, which means one of two things. First, this Winterfest will be a bit shorter than the previous edition that allowed players to open 13 presents, and second, the leaked image reveals incomplete gifts.

Additionally, the three cosmetics that players can get from the presents were also leaked. The cosmetics are as follows:

The leaked images also show the background behind each revealed gift in blue and purple tones, signifying the rarity of the cosmetic item unpacked by the player. These Fortnite cosmetics will be free and like in previous editions, players will only be able to unlock one present each day, or all of them on the final day of Winterfest 2022.

In addition to the presents, players get Winterfest-themed quests that can grant them additional XP and help them level up their Battle Pass faster. There could also be several weapons and items, such as Snowball Launcher and Presents, exclusive to the event that will be added later to the Battle Royale map.

As several leaks continue to drop, Fortnite servers are about to go live in a few hours and loopers will soon be able to land on the new Chapter 4 island with merged realities experienced in the live event.
